Emergency Housing Placement

Emergency Housing Placement exists for the nights when you cannot wait weeks for answers. When you reach out, our goal is to get you out of danger and into safe, stable housing as quickly as possible, then help you move from crisis to long-term security.

We start by listening: Are you sleeping outside, in a car, on a friend's couch, or leaving a facility or incarceration with nowhere to go? Based on your situation, we act quickly to secure immediate options through our Crisis Housing Referral support. We work with trusted partners so you can reach emergency shelter or short-term housing where safety and respect come first. When placement is available within our program, residents benefit from fully furnished living spaces, utilities included, free WiFi, on-site laundry facilities, and comfortable common areas designed to provide stability during a difficult time.

Once you are no longer in immediate danger, we focus on helping you find more permanent housing. Our team assists with rental applications, document collection, and communication with landlords who are willing to work with veterans, reentry individuals, and people facing housing barriers. During this transition, we provide access to a clean, safe, and structured living environment, supportive peer relationships, outdoor gathering spaces, and a community centered on growth, respect, and accountability.

When available, we also help you explore resources for security deposits and move-in costs so that financial hardship does not stand in the way of securing housing. Beyond shelter, our case managers help you create a practical plan for the first 30 to 90 days in your new home. This may include setting up utilities, arranging transportation, connecting you with food assistance, and helping you understand expectations that support long-term housing success. Residents also have access to life-skills guidance, personal development support, and ongoing encouragement as they work toward greater independence.

We do more than provide a place to stay. We help create a foundation for a stronger future through 24/7 support and assistance, community connections, and resources designed to help individuals regain stability and confidence.

For referral partners—including social workers, probation officers, hospital staff, and community organizations—our Emergency Housing Placement service provides a clear path when someone has nowhere safe to sleep. One call or message connects you with a team that understands urgency and works diligently to move people from crisis situations into safe, welcoming housing and, ultimately, a place they can call home.
